Rouen, its art and antiquities museums
Located a stone’s throw from the SNCF railway station, the Museum of Fine Arts holds the second largest Impressionist collection in France. In the city centre, the Secq des Tournelles Museum brings together the most significant public collection of ancient ironwork in the world. The Ceramics museum and the departmental museum of Antiques are just a few examples of the diversity of museums on the subject of art and antiques present in the Rouen area.
Contemporary art is also present with the Contemporary Art Centre of the Matmut, the Regional Contemporary Art Fund and Le 180.
Permanent collections, large temporary exhibitions, guided tours, workshops and conferences make up the event schedule for the city of Rouen in Normandy.
