Around Rouen

The Rouen – Normandy metropolitan region has one of the largest urban transit systems in France. Depending on your preferences, you can use the metro, TEOR, bus, bicycle or taxi to get around easily in the capital of Normandy. For large numbers, public transport is a great alternative to the car for getting around easily in the city centre as well as to reach the surrounding area.

For lovers of sport and green transport, the city of Rouen has a fleet of rental bicycles distributed across 22 stations throughout the city.

At the exit of the mainline train station as well also in ten other stations, taxis are available for hire to take you to the address of your choice.

A more unusual alternative are the ferries that cross the meandering river Seine at various points (Sahurs, La Bouille, Duclair…). A bucolic mode of transport that is not to be missed during your stay.
